Resourcing: Responsible and Creative Products

Who would have thought that using recycled yoga mats would become synonymous with supporting Leave No Trace?

We certainly wouldn’t have, but leave it the creative minds at Bota of Boulder to do just that! Created in 1972, this Boulder-based company has been bringing a better bota to a wide variety of recreationists for over three decades. In addition to water systems, the company also manufactures blankets, liners and filtration systems.

Released just this summer, Bota of Boulder is adding the ReGripTion to their line-up of recreational products. The ReGripTion is a chalk bag, composed from re-pourposed materials from local companies – like yoga mats and webbing. Leave No Trace is the proud beneficiary of 1% of the sales of this innovative and eco-friendly bag.

ReGripTion is available for purchase on the Bota of Boulder website – check it out!

not sure why Bota is claiming this is there idea-- they not only stole the material used in the picture, but the idea from a person who had hired and paid them to work for them.

It is said that a company like this can not come up with their own ideas, but yet steal them.
