Fall Board Meeting Approaches

It's that time of year again: the leaves are falling, we've  had our first frost, and the Leave No Trace board of directors convene for their fall meeting early next week. Twelve members from all over the country and our federal agency partners join together with Leave No Trace staff for an exciting, two day session in Boulder, CO. On our agenda this fall: mostly strategic planning and board development mixed in with some recreation (of the indoor variety due to weather) and a little social time.

The staff has spent many weeks discussing and preparing our initial ideas for Leave No Trace's 2009 strategies and key focuses. The next step is to have more discussions with the board and to finalize our marching orders. We look forward to this end-of-year strategic session and will report on the meeting results in a couple of weeks.
