This past weekend, we had the honor of traveling down to provide outreach and Leave No Trace awareness to the good folks of Dolores, Colorado for the Dolores River Festival. The Dolores River Festival is a community celebration of the Dolores River and the many ways it connects us to each other, the environment, and our resources. Although this community boasts a population of only 800, the festival air was alive with music, river adventures, and booths of vendors from around the state. Many thanks to one of our corporate sponsors, Osprey Packs, who invited us down and hosted our booth space. We were able to reach many folks throughout the day on the importance of practicing Leave No Trace while recreating, to protect and preserve the places that we all love to play. Spreading river love.. and loving every minute of it.
