It has been a rough weekend for the Leave No Trace office. News confirmed the deaths of Jonny Copp and Wade Johnson while climbing in China. Their third partner Micah Dash is still missing.
Jonny has been a treasured part of our extended Leave No Trace family, and will be sorely missed in so many ways. Grief can be crushing at times, but I think I can speak for all of us in saying that his smile, infectious attitude, and spirit will be cherished forever.
Please forgive us as we float through these bumpy waters, and join us in sending our thoughts to all of their families and friends.
