September Bigfoot Challenge has been posted!

This month’s Bigfoot Challenge drives us all to practice Leave No Trace in our own backyards. By encouraging the practice of Leave No Trace ethics on Labor Day weekend, our family barbeques and community events can be minimum impact events. The second challenge for the month of September encourages you to write a letter to your local newspaper about an environmental issue close to home. And our final challenge involves principle #1, Plan Ahead and Prepare, which encourages you to gear into next summer’s adventures by scheduling a trip and composing an itinerary.
