My Backyard: Creative support goes a long way.
We’re always thrilled to hear of the innovative ways our members, partners, and volunteers raise money for the Center.
Most recently, we’ve learned of a film festival hosted by Colorado State University’s Warner College of Natural Resources that will benefit the Center. The films will feature various adventure, humanitarian and sustainability themes and all proceeds from the event go to the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.
Additionally, we recently learned of a volunteer that created a Birthday Wish on Facebook to benefit Leave No Trace. She has set a goal to raise $370 for the Center, and from now until April 20, 2010, she will be asking her friends to donate as a birthday present.
The are innumerable ways to support the Center beyond membership. Got the creative itch to fund raise? Go for it! Your support of the Center helps fund new educational materials and initiatives, as well as scholarship and grant opportunities for communities nationwide. Thank you for your support!
